Principal's Message

Principal Traci Schultz

 Welcome Back, Stevens Families!                                                                      

I am thrilled to introduce myself as the new principal of Fort Stevens Elementary! My name is Traci Schultz, and I am delighted to be part of this wonderful school community. Most recently, I served as assistant principal at Southworth Elementary, but Fort Stevens holds a special place in my heart—I taught 5th grade and worked in the Title/LAP program here from 2018-2022. After more than 30 years in education, I am excited and grateful to be back with the Fort Family. This year, I encourage you to stay connected through our ParentSquare app for all important campus news and updates (see information later in this newsletter).  If you have problems setting this up, reach out to the office, and we will try to help.  We don't want you to miss anything!

I would love to meet you and learn more about your student(s) and family at my "Meet the Principal" event on September 8th (the day before school starts) at either 8:30-9:30 AM or 5:30-6:30 PM. If neither time works, please contact our school office to arrange a one-on-one meeting. I consider it a privilege to partner with the parents, teachers, and staff at Fort Stevens, and I look forward to watching our Eagles soar!
